Tricks and Treats Abound at SeaWorld San Antonio’s Spooktacular Celebration There are spooky and kooky adventures to be had all over the park throughout SeaWorld San Antonio’s Halloween Spooktacular. October 28 – 30: Alamo City Comic Con
Fans of comics, gaming and cosplay take over the Henry B. González Convention Center to meet their favorite celebs, artist and writers.
October 29 – 30: El Dia de los Muertos
Join us for El Dia de los Muertos presented by La Villita. Translated literally as “the Day of the Dead,” this Mexican cultural tradition is a celebration honoring departed loved ones. Creative and respectful altars are set up around town to commemorate loved ones who have passed on.
October 31: Halloween Fun in San Antonio
From ghost tours to spooky theme parks and family fun, enjoy Halloween in San Antonio.
November 4 – 13: Wurstfest
During this 10-day salute to sausage, you’ll find a variety of entertainment options including a polka contest, games, rides, food and drinks on the Wurstfest Grounds in Landa Park.
November 5: Diwali San Antonio- Festival of Lights
Diwali is a festive tradition of India that symbolizes the victory of good over evil. Experience this colorful event filled with Indian music, dance, food and more.
Join us every second Sunday of the month to enjoy a relaxing afternoon listening to jazz under the pecan trees of the Will Smith Amphitheater. Food and beverages are available for purchase from Picante Grill. Sunday Jazz at the Witte is presented in partnership with Trinity University’s KRTU Jazz 91.7. November 25: Ford Holiday River Parade and Lighting Ceremony
The day after Thanksgiving, our river parade kicks off the holidays as 28 decorated floats wind through the river in one of the country’s only nighttime river parades. Enjoy the beauty of thousands of lights illuminating the River Walk trees and bridges throughout the holiday season.
November 27 – December 3: Mariachi Vargas Extravaganza
Experience the best of mariachi music during the holiday season with the world renowned Mariachi Vargas de Tecalitlán.
December 2-4, 9-11, and 16-18 at dusk: Ford Fiesta de las Luminarias
Experience the holiday serenity of the River Walk as you stroll along the lush banks of the San Antonio River guided by more than 6,000 Luminarias. This centuries-old tradition begins at dusk Friday, Saturday and Sunday only.
December 3: Tamales! Holiday Festival at Pearl
Sample dozens of tamales from over 40+ tamale makers, from traditional to dessert, plus activities for kids, dancing and live music.
December 3 – 4: San Antonio Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon & ½ Marathon
This one-of-a-kind marathon features live music along each mile of the course that passes several historic missions and wraps up at the Alamodome.
December 29: Valero Alamo Bowl
Major college football comes to the Alamodome during this post-season collegiate bowl game featuring the top Pac-12 and Big 12 teams.
